Why choose this tour
Most sunset trips go only to Kalong Island. This one adds Strawberry Rock, a red rock formation that is usually empty by the afternoon. The boat leaves from Warloka village, about an hour by car from Labuan Bajo, which cuts out the long open-water crossing and makes time for both places.
Guests climb the rock with the guide for views over the bay, then snorkel the reef below it. As the light fades the boat moves to Kalong Island, where the engine is switched off and flying foxes cross the sky at dusk.
Because the boat is private, the group can stay longer in the water or skip a stop. All entrance tickets are included; underwater photos and video are available as an add-on.
