Why choose this tour
This is our premium version of the three-day Komodo route, for guests who want more space and privacy. The boats are traditional wooden phinisi built and fitted for comfort: every cabin has its own bathroom and air-conditioning, and the upper deck has a jacuzzi.
The luxury fleet includes YUMANA (32 m, 8 cabins), LAMBORAJO 3 (38 m, 8 cabins) and OCEAN PRO (38 m, 10 cabins). With so few cabins, the boat never feels crowded at meals or on deck.
The route is the same nine stops as our other three-day trips: Kelor, Manjarite and Kalong on day one; Padar at sunrise, Pink Beach, Komodo Island, Manta Point and Taka Makassar on day two; and Siaba on day three. All park, conservation and ranger fees are included in the price.
Itinerary
Day 1Kelor, Manjarite, Kalong
Pick-up from hotel, homestay, Komodo Airport or any Labuan Bajo address; board and safety briefing
Kelor Island: short climb to the ridge and a first swim
Manjarite: calm, shallow reef, the easiest snorkelling of the trip
Kalong Island: thousands of flying foxes leave the mangroves at sunset; dinner and night on board
Day 2Padar to Taka Makassar
Padar Island at sunrise: trek to the viewpoint over three bays
Pink Beach: swim and snorkel off the pink sand
Komodo Island: ranger-led walk to see wild Komodo dragons
Manta Point: drift with manta rays, guide in the water
Taka Makassar: a sandbar in the open sea; night on board
Choose the option you prefer. We confirm it in writing before you pay, and we never downgrade a confirmed cabin.
